Singapore · Fixed-fee builds · You own the code

The work your finance team repeats every month should be a build, not a habit.

We are accountants who write software. You describe the process that eats your close cycle, we build the application that does it, and we hand it over. One project, one fee, no subscription.

Free, and no obligation. Written proposal in three working days.

What it costs you now
What the build does
Matching bank lines against 40+ ledger accounts, by eye, every month
Rules learned from your own posting history, exceptions surfaced in a queue
Rebuilding the same management pack in Excel from a fresh export
Pack generates itself from the trial balance the moment the ledger locks
Keying supplier invoices line by line into the payables ledger
Documents read, coded to your chart of accounts, queued for approval
Chasing GST and filing deadlines across a spreadsheet of client entities
One compliance calendar that knows each entity's year end and flags what is due
Typical finance hours returned per month 0

Four things we get asked to build

Every engagement is scoped to your ledger, but most land in one of these. If yours does not, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth building.

01 · Reconciliation

Bank and ledger matching

Learns how you have historically coded transactions, then proposes matches and holds back only what genuinely needs a human.

  • Xero, QuickBooks or CSV export
  • Exception queue with audit trail
  • No auto-posting without approval

02 · Close

Month-end pack generator

Turns a locked trial balance into the reporting pack your board already expects, with prior period and budget comparatives.

  • Your existing pack format
  • Variance commentary drafted
  • Excel and PDF output

03 · Payables

Invoice capture and coding

Reads supplier documents, extracts the fields that matter, and codes them against your actual chart of accounts rather than a generic one.

  • Handles scanned and emailed PDFs
  • GST treatment applied
  • Approval routing built in

04 · Compliance

Entity compliance calendar

For firms and groups running many entities. Tracks what is due, for which entity, under which deadline, and who is holding it up.

  • ACRA and IRAS deadlines
  • Per-entity year end logic
  • Escalation before the due date

What you actually get

An exception queue, not a black box

Every build ships with a screen like this one. The application does the matching, then hands back only what it is unsure about, with the reason written next to it. Nothing posts to your ledger without a person clicking approve.

Illustrative interface. Yours is built around your chart of accounts and your posting history, so the codes and rules shown here would be your own.

How a project runs

Four to six weeks, start to handover

The order matters here, so it is worth reading in sequence. You can stop after the scope and take the specification elsewhere. Plenty of people do.

STEP 01

Scoping call

Thirty minutes. You walk us through the process as it actually runs, including the parts nobody documented. We tell you whether software is the right answer.

STEP 02

Written specification

A fixed-fee quote and a spec covering data sources, accounting rules, controls and what the application will refuse to do without a human.

STEP 03

Build and parallel run

You see working software in week two. We run it alongside your existing process for a full cycle before anything depends on it.

STEP 04

Handover

Code, documentation and access transfer to you. Your team is trained on it. Support is available afterwards but you are not tied to us.

Who builds it

Specified by someone who has closed the books

Most accounting software is written by developers working from a brief. The gap shows up later, in the edge cases: an accrual reversal, a foreign currency revaluation, a credit note against a prior period invoice.

Here, the accounting logic is written by a qualified accountant who has run finance functions and signed off real statutory accounts. The controls are designed the way an auditor would want to see them, because that is the same person.
